Microfleece and Suedecloth have become must haves for nappy makers all over the world.

The quality of your "stay dry" fabric is crucial in a modern cloth nappy. All the "stay dry" fabrics at Greenbeans have been specifically produced to our specifications that make them effective and durable when used to make a modern cloth nappy. Don't be fooled by similar products with identical names that are made for multiple other purposes as well. Rest assured when you buy from us that our fabric has been tested & designed for the specific purpose of nappy making.

Because they are not natural fabrics, suedecloth and microfibre do not absorb moisture. This means that when used as they layer next to baby's skin, the moisture passes straight through into the absorbent part of the nappy, and away from baby's bottom.

This has made them the popular choice for the next to skin layer of most modern cloth nappies.

It keeps baby's skin dry, by drawing the moisture away, and into the nappy.

Whether you use Microfleece or Suedecloth is a matter of personal preference. In Australia Suedecloth is generally preferred over Microfleece as it is cooler for bub and more suited to hotter countries/areas.
